## **Overview**

Less than 4 weeks ago, we launched our first feature - staking pools. Since then, we have upgraded almost all our pools with auto-compounding. It has been a huge success so far and our awesome community is growing. Almost all our pools have some mechanism that burns KRILL every day.\
\
We are always working on ways to create more utility for the KRILL token, and on implementing new burn mechanisms that counteract the inflating supply. KRILL will tokenize all our features, and enable the endless possibilites of decentralized finance.

{% hint style="info" %}
❗️**This is what we have planned for Q2:**

🛠 Yield Aggregation\
🍀 The Polywhale Lottery\
🚀 The Polywhale Launchpad - Polypad\
🌇 Polywhale NFTs
{% endhint %}

Polywhale is developing the first and biggest features built on top of Polygon. We want to showcase how powerful layer 2 scaling really can be. \
\
**This is our roadmap, explaining the details on what you can expect in the near future:**

## **Q2**

## :fire:**Burn Mechanism 1: Farming & Yield Aggregation**

Polywhale is the first farm built on the Polygon network.\
We have [several burn mechanisms](https://polywhale.gitbook.io/polywhale/overview/current-burns) in our pools that are being used to buy-back and burn KRILL.\
Going forward, we are implementing the very best optimizers for the most popular farms in the space.\
\
Integrating external pools means adding new rewards in our ecosystem. More importantly, it means that we can fully unlock the one biggest benefits of Polygons low fees - high frequency auto compounding.\
\
We will take exisiting pools and auto compound rewards more frequent than any other pool has done in the history of crypto. This is only made possible on Polygon.\
\
More frequent compounding means optimizing existing pools before even adding a single KRILL on top as a reward. Our iteration of these pools will outperform the APR / APY of these pools on any other network.\
\
You can already see how we have done this with the new Sushiswap LP pools or Quickswap LP pools in our [Reef](https://polywhale.finance/reef). We have already created the first auto-compounding farms ever for **Sushiswap & Quickswap.**

{% hint style="info" %}
**The next pools we are implementing:**

🌍 **Aave**\
🌈 **Curve**\
☄️ **Cometh**
{% endhint %}

Auto-compounding is not the only mechanisms we have in our optimizers. We tailor each pool to maximize profits by leveraging services the different protocol provide. Our custom strategies have a unique approach that always, some way or another, benefits the KRILL token.\
\
Are you interested in more details? Read our [medium blog](https://medium.com/polywhale).\
\
Within a short timeframe, Polywhale will have the most rewarding iterations of the liquidity pool on these platforms. We can't wait to get it live and showcase the power of our technology, an to add Aave, Curve and Cometh to the list of best optimizer pools in the space - right next to the Sushi & Quick optimizers.

## :fire:**Burn Mechanism 2: Lottery**

The second burn mechanism we are launching, is our Lottery - the first Lottery feature built on Polygon. \
\
We are proud to say that we have integrated [Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF)](http://chain.link/solutions/chainlink-vrf) on mainnet to secure the Polywhale Lottery system. This integration of Chainlink VRF ensures that all applications that rely on randomness in the Polywhale ecosystem are fully auditable and high-integrity processes, leading to a transparent and fair experience for everyone.\
\
Read the full article about the Chainlink integration [here](https://link.medium.com/UZqmkITocgb).\
\
The lottery will be a fun way for Krillionares to win KRILL tokens. Our community will be voting between different special prizes in some of the Lotteries, and it will be a sistainable way of burning KRILL tokens going forward.\
\
20% of all lottery proceeds will be burned. 80% will be given out in rewards. This is subject to change as we currently are improving the incentive structure. Read more about the Lottery [here](https://app.gitbook.com/@polywhale/s/polywhale/~/drafts/-MZltU1fPyBYMwQCSxsJ/lottery/lottery).\
An extensive article will be published with all necessary details.

## :fire:**Burn Mechanism 3: Launchpad**

We are pleased to say that Polywhale will be launching the very first Launchpad that is built on Polygon, and it's called **Polypad**. This is the biggest feature to be released by our team in Q2.\
\
Polypad is an incubator and accelerator that helps with fundraising, marketing, development and strategic planning for new projects that are being built on Polygon. \
\
The goal with Polypad is to have a safe place for our community to explore new projects. We want to showcase the most talented teams and developers that are building on Polygon, and make it possible for our community to participate in the earliest possible stage.\
\
We are currently discussing various ways to implement tier systems, and to make it fair and easy to get reasonable allocation for our users. Details regarding incentive structures and Polypad will be released before the first project is live on the Polypad.\
\
If you are currently developing a project on Polygon, you can apply [here](https://forms.gle/BgvoAEJYSNtDWTYh6) to join the Polywhale incubator. We will start reviewing projects shortly. Read more about Polypad [here.](https://app.gitbook.com/@polywhale/s/polywhale/~/drafts/-MZltU1fPyBYMwQCSxsJ/lottery/launchpad-polypad)

## :fire:**Burn Mechanism 4: NFTs**

We are in contact with several designers to roll out the very first Polywhale NFTs. We are still establishing the scarcity of the various NFTs, and if there will be utility associated with owning different NFTs.\
\
NFTs will play a vital role in our continued efforts to keep making Polywhale a gamified website.\
We are also exploring how we can distribute NFTs as rewards for achievements you receive by interacting on Polywhale. \
\
We have also recently published a few examples on how we will utilize NFTs in order to create farming benefits. Read more about our plans with NFTs [here](https://app.gitbook.com/@polywhale/s/polywhale/~/drafts/-MZo2Q5pkcTOxCEkagF2/lottery/nfts), and learn how our NFTs can impact the various DEFI features built on our protocol.

This documentation is published with GitBook. GitBook is the documentation platform designed so that both humans and AI agents can read, navigate, and reason over technical content effectively. Learn more at gitbook.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://polywhale.gitbook.io/oldywhale/overview/roadmap.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
